Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #38 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack
This week we are challenged to follow a Sketch.  Our sponsors this week are Stamp Art Designs and Stampin Chef.

I used Stampin Chef's cute image "Bad Bra".

I printed out my digital image and coloured using Copic markers.  I then cut fussy cut the bottom areas of the image that I didn't want the die to slice off.  The image and mat were then cut using QuicKutz Nesting Scallops dies and the edges inked. The background papers are old TLC ones which were cut to size and inked.  I freehand stitched using a pink copic marker but I didn't like the result so I ruled lines along the border and drew the stitches will a thin black pen.  My 'ribbon' is a piece of Washi tape from my stash.  This is my very first time using Washi.  I can see myself going back into my Washi tin and using some more.  I was very happy with the result.  My sentiment comes from 3 Twenty Crafts Strike a Pose”

I hope you join in with us - Come on get creative.

Hello my crafty friends!!
Welcome to day 4 of the 3 Twenty Crafts 2nd Release Blog Hop!

This week has been so much fun and I have had a blast sharing each new stamp set and all my projects with you. So thank you for stopping by each day this week and joining the fun!

You should have arrived here from Joyce but if you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, simply go to Jo's Scrap Shack.
Today we are showing you the new and awesome stamp set
Personalize It”
This stamp set coordinates with Project Life and Smash Books.  So many different options and many stamps in there to play with.
My creation today is very simple.  I have had this beautiful piece of 'It Takes Two' (QLS54) patterned paper for years.  I have never wanted to cover it up so it has stayed in my stash.  I thought today's project would be perfect to take it out and use in in my scrapbook. To highlight my goals for the year.
The Alpha Chipboard is #3 from Kaisercraft.  I painted the chipboard and a piece of white card with acrylic paints from my stash.  The paints are nothing special - Palmer 'Sunlight',  Semco 'Mango' and  Colour Traditions 'True Red'. I just used a paintbrush and elegantly blobbed it on and then blended them together.  Most of the true orange colour is the red mixing in with the yellow as the mango was much closer to the yellow than orange once it was applied.  I do love to get messy.  Once dried I just stamped onto the painted card  and voila.  Everything was just then glued down.

Well that is todays projects and I am glad you stopped by today. Your next stop on the hop is Kristin so have a great time as my Design Team sisters have really created up some gorgeous projects that will surely inspire you!!
To win today’s stamp set “Personalize it”, make sure you stop at each blog along the hop, become a follower and leave a comment. Hello my crafty friends!!
Welcome to day 3 of the 3 Twenty Crafts 2nd Release Blog Hop!
You should have arrived here from Joyce but if you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, simply go to Jo's Scrap Shack.
Today we are showing you the new and awesome stamp set
Say it from the Heart
There is so much you can do with this stamp set that I had to just start playing.  I love the hexagon shapes.  I decided to try embossing my card with the Stampin Up Honeycomb folder.  I then used it as a template for my creations.
First I used the solid hexagon shape to 'colour' the hexagons with Close To My Heart 'Watermelon' and 'Grey Flannel' inks I then rubbed the grey over the  raised areas.  This ended up being very grundgy.

The next one I trialled I rubbed my embossing folder with my ink on the raised side - this transferred the ink to the card so this is the back or debossed side.  I then stamped the swirly pattern (without the hexagon border) - if you look closely it  has a hexagon shape so fits perfectly within the hexagon.  I love how this one turned out.
The next background I embossed the card again this time working on the embossed side.  I traced around each hexagon shape with Spectrum Noir Marker BP2.  Then like my grundgy one I stamped using the solid hexagon.  This time I left some white space and also stamped the swirly pattern.

My last background again is on the embossed side of the card.  I alternated the swirly pattern with and without the hexagon border - it is like the pattern and the negative.  I love both these stamps and so I think this was the favourite of my backgrounds,

I then experimented with my brayer to change my white card to match my backgrounds I then stamped out one of the sentiments onto the newly created coloured card and inked the edges of the card and the sentiments.  I then added different trims.

This one is my absolute favourite the shine of those little daisies just does not show up on the photo.  Totally blingy :D

This one I added the organza ribbon

This last one the ribbon colour is actually pink - it hasn't photographed the best.

So many different looks and there are many more stamps in there to play with.
Well that is todays projects and I am glad you stopped by today. Your next stop on the hop is Kristin so have a great time as my Design Team sisters have really created up some gorgeous projects that will surely inspire you!!

Today we are showing you the new and awesome stamp set
Strike a Pose”  This stamp set coordinates with Project Life and Smash Books.

Here is what I created using this new stamp set:
I stamped out the polaroid onto white cardstock and cut them all outs securing my photos behind.  I then stamped the sentiments and star from the set and also used the polaroid for my journalling.   I found a chipboard alpha in my stash which was glued to the top of my page.  It all came together so easily and looking at it reminds me of my childhood where we had those polaroid photos.  My background PP was something I found in my stash.

Well that is my project and I am glad you stopped by today. Your next stop on the hop is Kristin so have a great time as my Design Team sisters have really created up some gorgeous projects that will surely inspire you!!

Simple Sentiments

Here is what I created using this new stamp set:
I started with a cream card base and stamped the sentiment with Close To My Heart Cocoa ink.  I then took my Maya Road "Fresh Chipboard Scrolls" and stamped them with the same ink using the curly tree from the 3 Twenty Crafts "Winter Wonderland" stamp set.  I then glued them to the card front in the design I liked and inked the edges of the card.  Voila - nice and easy.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #37 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

Our theme for this week is "Valentines Day"

Our Sponsor this week is 3 Twenty Crafts. The challenge to make a card, layout or off the page creation.

I started out creating my background papers using the 3 Twenty Crafts stamp set "Winter Wonderland".  I chose one of the snowflakes pictured here.
The hexagon shape made it easy to create the pattern,  For the bottom panel I stamped on white using red ink and the top I stamped on red using white ink.

Once these papers came together it was as simple as adding a red ribbon across the middle and adding my velvet feel alphabet by Paper craft. You would think the alpha was made for this project with the heart as the center of the letter O and the tittle on the letter I.
I just love it when a project like this comes together.  With stamps from 3 Twenty Crafts it is extremely easy - one little stamp and you can create wonderful backgrounds.

I hope you join in with us - Come on get creative.

FFC #36 - Anything Goes

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #36 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack.  This week our theme is Anything Goes.

Prizes this week come from our sponsors Paper Nest Dolls and Bugaboo - all details over at Jo's.

This week I decided to put together a Kaisercraft 25 Drawer Treasure Chest that I purchased to sort out my chipboard alphas.
The project comes as a flat pack the "drawers" themselves are chipboard and the shelving is a light wood.

Firstly I painted all the wooden sections on both sides with black acrylic paint.

As that was drying I folded up all the drawers and covered them on all four sides with patterned papers.  I labelled each drawer with a letter of the alphabet A-V, then WX and YZ shared a drawer and the last drawer is for punctuation marks.
Just a shot of a couple of the drawers as I was sorting my alphas
Once my wooden pieces were dry I assembled the wooden chest.  All that was needed was some patience and a hammer.  No nails or screws the pieces were shaped and had the holes in all the appropriate places.  I am very pleased with how they all turned out.  Maybe now that all my alphas are at my fingertips I might use them more often.

I hope you join in with us - Come on get creative.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #35 over at  Jo's Scrap Shack

Our theme for this week is "Celebrate" and our sponsor  is Bugaboo and I have used the cute image "Girlz Fairy 2"

My image has been coloured with copic markers .  I needed a perch for my fairy to sit on and I found the perfect one - this cute little toadstool by Unity Stamp Company -  "Mushroom Cottage" which again is coloured with copic markers.

I couldn't decide on background papers so I created some simply myself.  I dabbed white ink onto some blue card with a cotton ball to make some clouds.  I then tore up some green scraps and created my grassy meadows :D  I then stamped in the flower which is a snowflake from 3 Twenty Crafts "Winter Wonderland" set and created my crazy grass with copics.  I stamped out my sentiment and matted it with the same blue card.

I hope you join in with us - Come on get creative.
